My percular friend ... Joyce
I must attribute this bloggie entry to her. Well, I knew her for 4 yrs. Apparently, she wasn't the nicest person to be with. Always sulky and worst of, she is quite rebellious. Any instructions from me, she will be the first to comment or would just kindly do the opposite.
Well, of course things began to change. Joyce was a nicer person to talk to.. very supportive to ideas and stuff. Of course, then the problem came with the mood swings..! I can tell you, you have to read the mood very carefully. A lift of an eyebrown can mean a thousands words. PROUD of say, I am quite good at reading people with funny mood swings by now - trained by joyce's school of higher thoughts.
[luke, may seem a little clueless - are u graduating fr joyce's school of higher thoughts yet?]
I guess after all these years, we have been throught enuff up and downs. I truly appreciate her as a friend.. [Of course as a very good friend.] She is a person that u can count on in times of trouble. In any problems, [up or down] she was there, as a supportive friend.
Of cuz she is reallie fun to go out with... very torlarent to suanning and stuff =0).. OOPS! But she IS A REALLIE CUTE person to go to the movies or out shopping with... That's why beendict adores her so much... The person to invite, ASK JOYCE LAR!! - then again, joyce always spolits him.. [everyone spoilts him]
She comes across as a reallie sporty girl. She loves sports esp basketball. Not the usual girl that loves wearing skirt [although she did wear it once for my birthday as a surprise - great legs i tell u!!!] ... BUT that doesn't make her less a girl. [i think it's ok to be a little boyish. I am boyish too!! hee hee]
Since then I know her, she has grown in maturity. She takes things in her strike better. Less tantrum throwing, more caring.. More christ-like, I would say. Though her mum doesn't say it, she feels the same way too. There was once, her mum thank me for teaching her... I went 'huh???!!!' ... I don't think I did. I think the person that straighten her thinking was The BIG GUY UP THERE!! ...
[Joyce - u may not notice but it's true! There are alot of things that we knoe - like to forgive or to move on or to see the best in other people. But it takes a special grace to choose that right path =0)]
One thing about her that doesn't change is that she is lacks self confident. In the past, she can't do maths for nuts. NOW, she gets A for nuts...!! Most of the credit goes to Valerie [ she had the hard job of teaching her initally and of course, Joyce's hard work!!]. Sometimes, it's the same for other subjects, but she doesn't see it =p
My dearest joyce. U should be thankful to have people around you that can see the potential in you. PPL like JENNY and TEACHERS and LUKE. Although they do give u pressure in asking u to do even better ... in actual fact, they can see the potential that you don't see!!
Ok. I am sure everyone is a little bored!! One last thing... Joyce is very thoughtful person. One thing that she said that touched me was that, '' If i can spent 1 plus hr waiting for the guys to play pool, of cuz i will take the time to sent you home.'' I think that's very sweet. I know everyone is tired. The last night we talked till 3 plus outside my house.. and it was 1 plus in the morning after the pool game. That reallie inspire me to post this bloggie..
Not that I only have one friend to be thankful for... I have actuallly LOTS LOTS of blessings to count [e.g. my dearest benedict] .. I am reallie thankful to have a friend like JOYCE. Like what i always tell luke, joyce is reallie a special person. SHE belongs to the catagory of EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED. I guess, none of us expects her to be the gem that she is. God reallie works miracles =0) ... And I am a gemfinder =0)
